Magirus Camiva successfully presented its current products at the “Congres National des Sapeurs Pompiers de France”, which was held on 23-26 September 2015 in Agen in southwest France. With over 300 exhibitors and more than 30,000 visitors, the congress is the most important trade fair in France that is devoted to fire-fighting and disaster response.
Audience magnet: low-design turntable ladders
Once again, the new Magirus low-design turntable ladder attracted great attention. Its low overall height and extreme manoeuvrability, thanks to additional rear-axle steering, makes this vehicle concept perfect for the inner city areas of major population centres or the narrow streets of France’s many historic cities.
To go along with this, Magirus Camiva also presented a new light pumper that visitors responded very favourably to. Built on an IVECO Daily 4x4 (Achleitner conversion), this vehicle transports 1,650 litres of water and 95 litres of foam as well as comprehensive technical fire-fighting equipment.
New Customer Centre offers broad product portfolio
At its trade fair stand, Magirus Camiva featured the complete range of accessories and equipment for the French market as well as the company’s comprehensive Service and After Sales products. Since spring 2015, Magirus Camiva, with its “Pôle d’Éxcellence” Customer Centre in Chambéry, presents and offers products based on the Magirus product range that are specifically designed for the requirement profiles of French fire departments.
