Our heart beats in Ulm

With a staff of over 1,000 employees, the Magirus competence centre for fire protection technologies is located at the Ulm site. The Managing Board, administration, product development and production as well as international sales and customer service are headquartered in Ulm in the Danube valley.


At our Ulm location we combine high-tech and craftsmanship, over 150 years of tradition and innovative strength, many long years of practical experience and the art of engineering to build a technology that sets standards.


Construction of turntable ladders is one of our core skills at Magirus. Today Magirus turntable ladders are still produced individually and specifically to meet the needs of our customers. In September 2013 the new fire-fighting vehicle production facility was dedicated in Ulm. From customer-specific individual production to major series production orders – fire-fighting vehicles are produced here in four lines.
