The new safety function for Magirus turntable ladders allows immediate hazard detection. The system supports safe and efficient rescue. The first delivery of the new development has been carried out to the Essen Fire Department.

The Magirus Fire Fighter Academy held a course in turntable ladder tactics for the Professional Fire Department Klagenfurt, Austria. During the three-day training, the machine operators learned about the entire spectrum of the articulated ladder's capabilities.

From 9 to 16 July 2017, the International Fire Brigade Competitions will take place in Villach, Austria. As a partner of fire departments the world over, Magirus will participate in the event to support 2,500 volunteer and professional firefighters from home and abroad.
