Numerous fire departments have been applying for the Conrad Dietrich Magirus Award 2018. Finalists are competing in the online voting until January 27, 2019. Vote now for your favourite!

The German Fire Brigade Association met in Ulm on its 165th anniversary. Solemn wreath-laying ceremony in commemoration of firefighting pioneer, visionary and founder C.D. Magirus.

In September, 25 young people began their professional futures at Magirus. Team spirit and enthusiasm for technology are important prerequisites. The application deadline for the following training year ends 31 October 2018.

The application phase for the "Oscar of the Firefighting Industry" runs until 11 November 2018. Outstanding operations from around the world are being sought. The winning teams travel to the New York City Fire Department.
