About the Conrad Dietrich Magirus Award
This year, the Conrad Dietrich Magirus Prize is being held for the third time. As in recent years, Magirus has called upon fire-fighters from throughout the world to apply for the prize. The most exciting missions, as well as courage, tactics, creative strategy and dedication play a decisive role. Prizes are awarded in four different categories, both nationally and internationally. Not only individual performance is ranked, but in particular, teamwork. And Magirus creates a stage for focusing the public eye on the value of each individual fire-fighter as well as on fire brigades themselves.
