Magirus GmbH is the winner of the "Best of DMV 2016" competition held by the German Marketing Association (DMV). During the awards ceremony of the 43rd German Marketing Day on 24 November 2016 in Leipzig, the company received its prize as the Best Regional Winner in 2016. The idea behind the honour is distinguishing the best regional marketing award winners. Any of the association's 65 Marketing Clubs in Germany and Austria may make a nomination.

Convinced by outstanding marketing performance

Magirus qualified itself as the regional prize winner by winning the Ulm Marketing Prize 2016, and was thus nominated for the "Best of DMV". The Magirus team's marketing performance also convinced the "Best of DMV" jury members. Their evaluation criteria include a consistent market orientation with a sustainable focus as well as a connection to marketing performance in Germany. Claus Peter Claudy, the chairman of the "Best of DMV" jury, was especially impressed by the authenticity and emotionality of Magirus's marketing activities, which are rarely found in the B2B environment. "The imagery is effective at the emotional level across all channels – online, social media, print or video format." In the eyes of the jury, Magirus fulfilled these as well as other criteria, resulting in the company's achievement of the highest total score.
