Since the restructuring has been accomplished, it's the right moment to accept new challenges.

Since the company’s radical restructuring in 2011, Benedetti has successfully steered its repositioning in a difficult market.

Under his leadership, Magirus GmbH developed a competence centre for fire protection in Ulm, Germany, and reorganised the company’s international locations in Austria, Italy and France. Since 2012, over 15 significant and innovative product developments were presented as part of a sustainable product offensive. The company set new standards in all segments: turntable ladders, fire engines, crew compartments, special vehicles and pumps. The CNH Industrial Group invested substantially over 100 million euros in locations and new products – a commitment that has secured the future of its fire protection sector.

The 45-year-old CEO informed the company workforce as to his decision to leave Magirus and the Group at an employee meeting. “Magirus is not a profession, it is a passion. I will now be dedicating myself to a new professional challenge, but I will always maintain my ties to the company,” said CEO Benedetti about his departure.

Andreas Klauser, President of Case IH and Steyr, will assume the management of Magirus GmbH on a transitional basis until a new CEO is appointed.
