Magirus Schweiz GmbH has officially announced its foundation. As a subsidiary of Magirus GmbH in Ulm, the company has emerged from the fire protection division of Iveco Schweiz AG and will now operate independently. With this expansion, Magirus strengthens its presence on the Swiss market and emphasizes its commitment to innovative solutions in the field of firefighting vehicles and technologies.
Magirus Schweiz GmbH will provide the sale, maintenance and servicing of firefighting vehicles, in particular turntable ladders, pumpers and robotics. It will also offer state-of-the-art equipment and digital systems for fire services. “The aim is to provide Swiss fire brigades with customised, state-of-the-art products that optimise their operational capabilities and support them in fulfilling their demanding tasks”, says Thomas Hilse, CEO of Magirus.
“The experienced sales and customer service team, which has already built up an excellent reputation, will remain the first point of contact at the same location for Swiss customers under the new company structure”, Marc Kuntz, Director Sales and Customer Service, adds. Linda Schmidt (Customer Service), Bruno Müller (Sales) and Marco Hauk (Magirus GmbH, Ulm) will work together in the management team to drive the success of the new company.
