The workshop that deploys with you.

What does the ideal workshop look like? With highly modern equipment, a clean structure and an orderly layout, it offers optimum working conditions. If this is the ideal, then Magirus rescue vehicles are workshops of the superlative. The vehicles are loaded with everything necessary for technical assistance plus additional desired equipment, all according to standards and individual requirements, from a hydraulic rescue set to an inflatable boat and even a loading crane. The AluFire 3 superstructure system guarantees that the existing stowage volume is utilised up to the last cubic centimetre, that nothing gets in the way and everything can be removed easily and conveniently. And perfectly coordinated chassis variants mean that this super workshop is not only mobile, but also highly agile on or off the road.

Whatever you need: It's all there.

With a modular system of optional features, every fire brigade can design a vehicle to suit its own needs. The AluFire 3 superstructure system creates a generous amount of space, ideally utilized through many clever details that are clearly rooted in practice. Of particular note are creative, individual solutions for stowage of equipment and fittings, ergonomic removal heights in all equipment spaces and many ideas which save time on the job and increase safety. As an alternative to the classic superstructure, rescue vehicles with a rear tail lift are available as well.

These unique, detailed solutions are to your advantage.

Our rescue vehicles provide comprehensive equipment for conducting difficult rescue and assistance missions, with weight and space reserves for additional loads. They have an optimally coordinated chassis/superstructure concept with outstanding driving characteristics for on and off-road use.

High-volume superstructures offer plenty of stowage space. Lowered equipment lockers (some optional) between and behind the axles increase the available space even more.

This superstructure concept features a walk-in tail equipment room at the rear instead of an equipment locker covered by a roller shutter. As many as four wheeled containers can be stored here. This means rescue vehicles can be equipped flexibly depending on the main vehicle's mission or the season. The result is a variety of flexible and interesting tactical possibilities.

Various types of winches can be installed, e.g. drum winches or driving disc winches. Possible pull directions: Forwards and / or backwards. Pulling power is doubled by means of an additional pulley. Furthermore, various types of front-mounted winches are available as well.

The power generator is built in as a part of the chassis. The generator is driven by means of a drive shaft from the chassis P.T.O. Possible outputs range from 15 to 50 kva. Due to the low-RPM motor, the power generator is also low-noise and has reduced pollutant emissions. The equipment structure features an ergonomic switchboard for operating the power generator and sockets for power output on the safe side away from traffic.

Rely on the original: AluFire 3

Magirus invented the aluminium superstructure for fire-fighting vehicles. In its third generation, the AluFire system has already proven thousands of times that it is more flexible, intelligent, powerful and successful than ever.

    Robust. Lightweight. Uncomplicated.

Specially designed for Magirus, the anodised aluminium profiles are highly resistant, stable and extremely long-lasting. Fewer overall components mean reduced weight and simplified maintenance and repairs. We guarantee against rust-through for 12 years – only in connection with a maintenance contract.

You get three dimensions of flexibility.

Surrounded 360° by aluminium carrier bands for full loading flexibility: This enables uninterrupted floor to roof loading. Panel-shelves can also be inserted without the need to remove any components.

    Heavy-duty and long-lasting solution.

Highly stable sandwich floors are extremely strong. Countersunk screws prevent injuries and damage to equipment. Smooth-surfaced floors are easy to clean.

    • Clear display of all functions, status values and possible warning messages with highly legible graphics and symbols
    • The display is easily viewed by the operator and vehicle driver for especially safe activation of functions
    • No retrofitted wiring or switches are necessary in the dashboard – for the greatest possible reliability
    • Simple integration and control of additional units via FireCan – the same operating logic used for the HMI pump control unit simplifies handling and training
    • The highest system security in the industry due to independent, double CAN control systems as well as pneumatic and manual emergency operation
