Terms and Conditions "Magirus Safety Game"

1. „Magirus Safety-Game“ Competition

  • By participating in the "Magirus Safety Game" (hereinafter "Competition"), the participant expressly recognizes these General Terms and Conditions.
  • This Competition is organised by Magirus GmbH (hereinafter referred to as "Magirus"), Graf-Arco-Strasse 30, 89079 Ulm, Germany.
  • The Competition begins on 22 April 2015 at 12:00 p.m. and ends on 20 May 2015 at 14:00 p.m.
  • The organiser reserves the express right to terminate the Competition without prior notice and without communicating the reasons for this. This applies in particular if the winner cannot be determined as planned.
  • The prize is 3x6 day passes for the Interschutz Trade Fair 2015 in Hanover, which is scheduled for 8–13 June 2015. Travel and accommodations are not included in the prize. Cash payment or exchange of the prize is prohibited. Magirus reserves the right to retroactively change the prizes.

2. Participation

  • All crews of volunteer, professional, company and plant fire departments can participate in the Competition. All participants must be at least 18 years old. Employees of Magirus are excluded from participation. To participate in the Competition, the participant must have a valid e-mail address.
  • In addition, the described task must be performed and filmed. Together with all contact information, the video material must be submitted to http://www.magirusgroup.com/de/en/serving-heroes/news-deliveries/magirus-safety-game/ eingereicht werden.
  • Participation is only valid during the specified entry period. Submissions received after the deadline will not be considered when determining the winner. Participation in the Competition is free of charge. Each participating fire brigade can only enter one submission. The winning team will be determined by a jury and notified in writing by e-mail. The prize will be sent to the winning team by post.

3. Liability disclaimer

In connection with the implementation of the Competition, Magirus accepts no liability in any form for direct or indirect damages that result from the participation and execution of the task.

4. Privacy Policy

The contact details of the participants will be stored solely for purposes of implementing the Competition. All data will be deleted no later than 30 days after the end of the Competition. Only the address data of the winning team will be used, and exclusively for the purpose of sending the prize. No data will be passed on to third parties.

5. Granting of Rights

In connection with the Competition, every participant grants the organiser temporally, regionally and substantively unlimited and non-exclusive rights of usage to the submitted video material for media reports about the Competition (regardless of media, i.e. print as well as online), for public relations and for the announcement of the Competition. In particular, this means the right to copy, distribute and make the submitted video footage publicly available.

6. Copyright / Privacy Rights

The applicant guarantees the organiser that he is fully authorised to dispose of the delivered materials (videos, texts, images, graphics etc.) in connection with its contractual use. He further guarantees the organiser that the content is free of any third-party rights, including any privacy rights, and that he will release the organiser from any claims by third parties on first demand.

7. Facebook

The Competition is in no way connected to Facebook and is neither sponsored, supported nor organised by Facebook. No questions, comments or complaints regarding the Competition are to be addressed to Facebook but must be sent to the Magirus Facebook page or via e-mail to magirus@remove-this.cnhind.com.

8. Other

Legal recourse is excluded. German law applies. If individual provisions of these Terms and Conditions should be or become wholly or partially invalid, the validity of the remaining regulations shall not be affected.
